Course Description

This 40-hour entry level class fulfills the training requirements for registration in order to obtain the proper DC SPO certification to work as an Unarmed Special Police Officer in the District of Columbia. Special Police Officers shall be required to satisfactorily complete pre-assignment training programs which have been prescribed and approved by the Mayor. To complete this course, you MUST view every slide and pass the final exam.

THIS TRAINING DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 40 HOURS OF FIREARMS TRAINING REGULATED BY MPD.
